HOW TO SET THE TIME AND DATE

If you are using the phone for the first time, you will be automatically prompted to set the time and date.
1. Go to the Main menu , select Settings
2. Select Phone
3. Select Time and date
Here are the available options:
Set the time/date
1. Select Time and set it using the keypad
2. Select Date and set it using the keypad
3. Press OK to confirm the changes
Change the format
Ø In this option, change the date and time display format. The time is in 24-hour format by default.
Use Options to select this value and modify the display. It is possible to use the American 12-hour
format.
Ø It is also possibly to change the date format. The default format is DD MM YYYY. Use Options to
select this value and choose your desired format from the list.

USING THE KEYPAD TO ENTER TEXT

To enter words with the keypad, press the letter key until the desired character is displayed.
E.g: to type the letter N, press the 6 key twice; to type the number two, press the 2 key four times.
To enter a space between two words, press the 0 key.
To type in uppercase letters, press the key to
mode in the upper right hand corner.
To type a special character (comma, full stop, hyphen, etc.), press the 1 key until the desired character is
displayed.

HOW TO ACCESS AND USE THE ADDRESS BOOK

Contacts can be saved on the SIM card, on the phone or both.
To access the phonebook from the main screen, press Menu then select Contacts.
From the phone's main screen, access the phonebook directly by pressing Contacts.
Quick search
Once in the Contacts menu, start typing a name to find a contact . The letters are automatically entered
into the search line and all the corresponding contacts are displayed.

When you highlight a contact in the phonebook, the following options are available:
