READING AND WRITING TEXT MESSAGES

In the Message menu, you can consult, send and receive your text messages. When you receive a new
message, the icon
where all received messages are stored.
To read your messages, go to Menu , then select SMS.
In Message , you have the following options:
New
Inbox
Outbox
Drafts
Messages sent
Templates
Voicemail server
SMS parameters
Memory
Write and send a Text message
1. In the SMS sub-menu, select New
2. Enter the recipient's number using the keypad, or press the centre key to add a number from Contacts
3. Select the contact(s) you want to add to the recipient list . Press Options , then OK
4. Enter your text using the keypad
5. Press the centre key and choose the SIM card with which you would like to send the message. Press
OK
When editing a text message , you have the following Options :
Send
Insert a template
Add contact information
Add an expression
Save draft
Exit
Manage messages in the inbox
In the Inbox you have the following options:
View
Reply
Delete
is displayed. Press Read to view the message. You will access the Inbox menu,
Write a new message
Messages received
Messages being sent
Messages saved to send later
Messages sent
Templates and predefined messages
Edit or call voicemail numbers for SIM 1 and SIM 2
SMS settings
Consult the SMS memory for SIM 1 and SIM 2
Send the message
Insert a predefined message
Insert the details for a contact into the message
Insert expressions
Save your message in Drafts to be sent later
Quit text message editing
Open message to read it by pressing the centre key
Reply to the message
Delete chosen message
