Putting on the shoulder strap

Always wear a shoulder strap
when working with the equip-
ment. Always switch off the
equipment before loosening the
shoulder strap. There is a risk of
accidents.
1. Fix the carabiner hook of the
shoulder strap (20) to the eyelet
(11) on the telescopic handle (9)
of the equipment.
2. Put on the shoulder strap (20)
(see also picture
3. Adjust the strap length such
that the carabiner hook is at hip
height.

Adjusting the telescopic handle

The telescopic handle (9) is infinitely
adjustable using the quick release (8)
1. Flap out the quick release (8) on
the telescopic handle (9).
2. Pull or push to adjust the length
of the telescopic handle (9).
3. Reclose the quick release (8).

Switching on and off

1. Form a loop at the end of the ex-
tension cable and hang this in the
cable relief on the mains cable
(15).
2. Connect the equipment to the
mains.
3. Hold the saw firmly with both
hands, with the right hand on
the operating handle and the
left hand on the round handle.

4. To switch on, operate the start
lock (12) then press the on/off
switch (13): the equipment runs
at top speed. Release the start
lock.
5. The saw switches off when the
on/off switch is released.
A continuous operation setting is
not possible.

Working safety

Observe the specified working angle in
order to guarantee safe working.
Work vigilantly and endanger nobody
when sawing. Work calmly and consid-
erately.
Ensure a safe stance without being
hampered by branches, stones and
trees. Do not use the equipment when
standing on a ladder. Always keep the
cutting gear in view when working.
On a slope, always stand above or to
the side of the branch to be sawn.
Work only in adequate visibility and
light conditions.
Hold the equipment as close to the
body as possible. This gives you the
best balance.
Always hold the equipment firmly with
both hands.
Carry the equipment by the telescopic
handle with the cutting device pointing
backward. Attach the chain guard for
transporting the equipment (see
