The stump grinder does not come with quick coupler attachments, and the operator should install quick coupler fittings appropriate for the skid steer. The quick coupler fittings can be purchased from Bandit Industries, Inc. if the required sizes are available. Refer to the skid steer manufacturer’s manual for the proper procedures for attaching and detaching hydraulic hoses.

MODEL SA-25 MACHINE OPERATION CUTTING AREA DANGER For optimum performance, the stump should be cut with the portion of the cutter wheel shown below. NEVER UNDERCUT THE STUMP. Undercutting the stump may cause severe kickback, vibration and component damage. NEVER CUT THE STUMP FROM THE TOP. The cutter wheel will throw debris up and toward the operator, instead of down and under the machine.

MODEL SA-25 MAINTENANCE MAINTENANCE The Bandit is a very simple machine to maintain. If you will follow a regular scheduled preventative maintenance program, you should have years of trouble free operation. DANGER Before attempting any type of maintenance, allow cutter head to come to a complete stop, turn off engine, remove the ignition key from the skid steer, make sure the ignition key is in your possession, disconnect the bat- tery to the skid steer, and install the cutter head lock pin.
