SIPLUS HCS systems
SIPLUS HCS is the intelligent answer to sensitive thermal requirements in industry
and ensures highly precise control of resistive loads.
Depending on the requirements, such as output power or scalability, the following
heating control systems are available:
SIPLUS HCS4200 – the flexible system
Controls and switches heating elements in voltage supply systems of 45,
70, 110, 230/277, 400/480 V AC
Up to 48 kW output power per power output module (POM)
POM Lowend: 16 power outputs per POM with up to 1.45 kW at 230/277 V
POM Midrange: 12 power outputs per POM with up to 4.43 kW per output
at 230/277 V
POM Flexible: 12 power outputs per POM with output voltages of 45 V,
70 V, 110 V, 230/277 V
POM Highend: 8 power outputs per POM with up to 20 A each at
230/277 V or 400/480 V and integrated current measurement per output,
e. g. for diagnosis of heating elements switched in parallel
4 or 12 POM per rack
Quickly installed and flexibly expandable thanks to plug-in power output
modules
Installation of the rack directly onto the carrier plate in the control cabinet
Intelligent and detailed diagnostic
SIPLUS HCS4300 – the performant system
For controlling 400 V/480 V AC heating elements
Up to 69.1 kW output power per power output module (POM)
9 power outputs per POM
Max. 24 POM per central interface module (PROFINET)
Load discharge with 3 pole connector
Voltage compensation integrated
Supply and return circuit of every heating element protected by individual
fuses
The configuration of an HCS heating control system consists of the central
interface module (CIM) for communication connection via PROFINET or
PROFIBUS (depending on the version) and the individual power output modules
(POM) for controlling the heating elements or fields.
In addition, each CIM also has a module slot.
Here, depending on the requirement, one of the following I/O modules can be
integrated:
"PM4000 DI/DO" for the connection of digital sensors or actuators
"PM4000 U/I" for measuring voltage and power
"PM4000 temperature" for measuring temperatures
