    PM2.5 AIR QUALITY MONITOR / EN 2. INTRODUCTION Particle pollution comes from many different type of sources. Fine particle (2.5 micrometers in diameter and smaller) include power plants, industrial processes, vehicle tailpipes, wood stoves, and wildfires. Coarse particles (between 2.5 and 10 micrometers) come from crushing and grinding operations, road dust, and some agricultural operations.

    PM2.5 AIR QUALITY MONITOR / EN VOCs include a variety of chemicals that can cause eye, nose and throat irritation, shortness of breath, headaches, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, and skin problems. Higher concentrations may cause irritation of the lungs, as well as damage to the liver, kidney, or central nervous system.
