SUB-PROBLEM
TOW/HAUL light is
"ON" or blinking.
Reset button does not
pop out when tested.
Circuit breaker trips.
Cranks fast but won't
start.
Cranks slowly or not at
all.
Generator runs then
surges.
CAUSES
Overdrive is "OFF".
Transmission
malfunction detected.
Loss of ground fault
protection.
Overloaded circuit.
Not enough fuel in gas
tank.
Not enough fuel to
generator.
Low oil level.
Plugged fuel filter.
Inoperative fuel pump.
Fouled spark plug.
Low coach battery.
Load connected.
Bad battery connection. Clean and/or tighten
Blown fuse.
Started with load
"ON".
SOLUTIONS
Reactivate overdrive.
Contact an authorized
Ford Dealership for
required service.
Contact an authorized
service technician for
maintenance, do not use
outlets until issue is
resolved.
Turn "OFF" some
electrical load and reset
circuit breaker.
Add fuel to chassis
tank.
Refer to manuafcturers
literature for priming
generator and restarting.
Add HD30 or 10W-30
oil to generator.
Contact an authorized
service technician for
maintenance,

Contact an authorized

Start chassis then start
the generator.
Disconnect load before
starting.
