A separation of at least 100 mm is recommended. Sensitive signal circuits should be routed away from the drive module. A minimum separation of 300 mm (12 in) is recommended. Any signal cables which are carried inside the motor cable (motor thermistor, motor brake) will pick up large pulse currents via the cable capacitance.
