Self-Monitoring Analysis And Reporting Technology Errors

The PCIe SSD solution is always monitored for errors by its internal software. If an error occurs, it is detected and
recorded in an internal log. Based on the criticality of the error, the software may inform the host server that further
action is needed. It signifies that the error condition occurred a specific number of times and that the device health
needs attention.

PCIe SSD Carrier LED Indicators

The LEDs on the PCIe SSD carrier indicate the state of each physical device. Each PCIe SSD carrier in your enclosure
has an activity LED (green) and a status LED (bicolor, green/amber) as shown in the figure. The activity LED flashes
whenever the device is accessed.

While the operating system is running, the status indicator provides the current status of the device. The table below
lists the device states along with the associated LED indicator codes.
