Alerts and Alarms

When the therapy unit detects certain conditions, it will activate an alert or an alarm.
Low Priority Alert
Requires patient or caregiver attention.
Indicated by a single audible tone and a solid yellow LED.
Medium Priority Alarm
Requires immediate attention to ensure your prescribed therapy is being delivered.
Indicated by a repeating audible tone and a flashing yellow LED.
See the following pages for instructions on how to fix each alert or alarm.

Audio Pause

Press and release
Audio Pause
will be solid yellow.
The audible tone will come back on in 60 minutes if the alert has not been fixed.
The audible tone will come back on in two minutes if the alarm has not been fixed.
If alarm condition cannot be fixed, call your doctor or nurse right
away.
WARNING: If therapy stops or the unit shuts off for any reason, call your
doctor or nurse right away. Without active therapy, your dressing will need
to be replaced within two hours.

Battery Low Alert (Low Priority)

This alert appears about two hours before the battery power runs out. It is
indicated by a single audible tone and one solid yellow LED.
Therapy will continue during this alert.
To fix this alert, recharge the battery.
Connect the therapy unit to a wall outlet using the power supply. The battery charging light
will glow amber as the battery charges. Refer to the
(page 12) for more information.
