Reader Does Not Power On

Problem
Reader does not
power on after
you press the
Home Button or
insert a test strip.
If the Reader still does not power on after trying these steps, contact

What It May Mean
Reader battery is
too low.
Reader is outside
of its operating
temperature range.
What To Do
Charge the Reader.
Move the Reader to a
temperature between
50 °F and 113 °F and then
try to power it on.
