Read this manual carefully, in doing so you guarantee the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service.
Check that the fan is in good working order. Take immediate action to have it repaired or any damaged parts replaced. DO NOT attempt to repair the fan yourself. Always contact the Clarke service department who will use recommended parts only. Unapproved parts may be dangerous and will invalidate your warranty.

WARNING: ALWAYS DISCONNECT FROM THE POWER SUPPLY BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE TASKS. REPAIRS SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT BY THE CLARKE SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Clean the with a soft damp cloth, Do not use solvents or abrasives. If used in spaces with high dust content, clean the guards and fan blades by vacuuming or wiping.
No other maintenance is required, should you discover any problem with the ventilation fan return it to the CLARKE service department for repair. Should the fan fail to operate, check the power supply and that the fuse in the plug has not blown. Abnormal noise while the fan is running may occur if the fan is not standing on a level surface.
