    K6 K8 K10 K20 | SERVICE MANUAL Consumption of the amplifier output board On the dual voltage power supply sets the output voltage at +/-18 VDC and check the current drawn by the amp board: +18 VDC approx. 0,85 A (with rail bus voltage at 0 VDC) -18 VDC approx.

Verify that the consumption does not exceed 1.2 A (typical 850mA). With Rail Bus voltage at +30 Vdc, verify the consumption of the auxiliary voltages; it should be approximatively 0,11 A with spikes up to 0.15 A As portrayed in the picture below.

By means of an oscilloscope, verify the presence of an audio signal on each and all of the five sense resistors assembled in vertical position on both channels.

    We suggest updating to the latest release all K amps DSPs you receive for service. To facilitate this, and to solve a possible “NO LINK” error, we can ship a FIRMWARE UPDATE CARD (Powersoft code PC000112). K amps WITHOUT DSP DO NOT NEED TO BE UPGRADED.

The PFF file is a package of firmwares for KFRONT, KCNTRL and KDSP boards of K Series or Duecanali amplifier.
