How do I charge my tracker?

We recommend plugging your charging cable into a USB port on your computer or other low-
energy device. If necessary, you can use a UL-certified USB wall charger. Don't use a USB hub
or battery pack to charge, and only use the charging cable that came with your tracker.

Your Fitbit Alta™ comes equipped with a rechargeable lithium-polymer battery. If your battery
is low, charging fully may take one to two hours. Watch our video or read the instructions below
for more detail.

Charging your Alta (step-by-step)

To charge your Alta:
1. Plug the charging cable into the USB port on your computer.
2. Plug the other end of the cable into the port on the back of the Alta.
3. By lining up the pins on the charging cable with the port on your Alta, attach the cable to
the tracker. These must be securely locked in place.
