2.6 P O W E R -UP SELF-TEST INITIALIZATION
Before turning on the VXlbus mainframe, make sure a Slot 0 with a Resource Manager is
present. Upon power-up of the system, the 7064 goes through the following power-up
sequence:
• T h e 7064 breadboard module has two LED's on the front panel - FAIL
and ACCESS. The LED functions are:

establish the proper start-up state. A brief description of this power-up sequence follows.
2.6.1 S e l f -Test
Tests are performed on ROM, RAM, Non-Vol and the tinier to ensure they are operating
correctly.
