Measuring your blood pressure
➡ Now take the rubber ball into your
right hand and inflate the cuff to
approx. 180 mmHg. A triple signal tone
occurs. The rising cuff pressure is
shown on the digital display. In case
the pressure in the cuff is not high
enough, the symbol
GB
the measurement. Please inflate the
cuff by approx. 40 mmHg more. This
procedure may be repeated unil the
pressure in the cuff is higher than the
systolic blood pressure (symbol
appears and the triple signal tone
occurs).
At the following measurement the neces-
sary inflation pressure is adjusted by the
memomatic function, i.e. inflation pres-
sure = SYSTOLIC of last measurement ta-
ken +40 mmHg). Please inflate until the tri-
50
ple signal tone indicated the correct pres-
sure.
Important: The additional increase in the
cuff pressure can cause faulty readings. If
this occurs, repeat the measurement after
appears during
a 2 minute interval and this time inflate
straight to above your upper (systolic)
blood pressure value.
dis-
To interrupt a measurement you can press
the button of the release valve until all air
has been expelled from the cuff. (To repeat
a measurement, simply reinflate the cuff.)
After inflation the air is automatically re-
leased. The decreasing cuff pressure is re-
gistered the left side of the display.
