Some of the safety and usage measures you may wish to consider include:
-snow load ratings vary by geographical location. If heavy or wet snowfall occurs, it is advisable to sweep the
snow off the roof(s).
-if the product is elevated, any structural and building code requirements are solely the customer's
responsibility, and should be abided by.
-in high or gusty wind conditions it is advisable to keep the structure securely grounded.
-have a regular maintenance plan to ensure screws, doors, windows and parts are tight.

Position so plates are flush with framing. Starting at Rear Corner, position a Solid Wall Panel on top of plywood floor.

    Next, attach the 4 Side Top Plates (2 per side). The side top plates are angle cut down the length. Once again, position top plate on wall plate so it is flush with inside of wall plate. Complete attachment of battens to 2nd Rafter Section as per Steps 39-45. With both rafter/batten sections complete, carefully lift section up with a helper.

Offsetting Metal Ridge Board Connectors Gable Notch At the peak, align Ridge Boards so they are flush together and secure them with 12 - 1 1/4” screws. Important: if there is a gap between Ridge Boards, try pushing side walls closer together from outside.

    91” across Roof Gussets are positioned on middle rafters. Prior to attaching, make sure Side Walls are properly aligned. Have two helpers push the front and rear walls at the top from the outside of shed until inside to inside measurement between Side Wall Plates is 91”. When correct, slide gusset up, use level to square gusset and attach to rafters with 4 - 2”...
  • Page 25 even and slightly lower Attach Side Facia Trim (71 3/4” long) to end of rafters with 10 - 1 1/2” finishing nails per piece. Line end of facia even with end of batten. Lower facia enough so as not to impede the roof when attached. Attach remaining side facia pieces as per Step 56.

    Do not attach roof panel onto rafters until all panels are positioned and spaced. In the meantime, have your helper hold the panel in place so it doesn’t slide off. Locate 2nd roof panel. Place 2nd panel on rafters and overlap panel with the first outside panel as shown on left illustration.
  • Page 27 Before attaching roof panels down, insert Foam Enclosures between roof panels and battens. Using 2” Metal Screw and 3/8” Nut Driver (included), secure outside panel down to each each batten. Metal screw is self tapping. Do not over tigthen!   • Page 28 Complete the opposite side metal roof panels as per Steps 58 - 64. Before attaching Metal Ridge Caps, place strips of Foam Enclosures near to top. Enclosures will prevent moisture from coming in from the top. Complete both sides. Overlap 1-2” on each end.
  • Page 29 When ridge cap is correctly positioned, secure with 12 - 2” self tapping metal screws. Screw into to final batten. Do not overtighten. Important- Illustrations show shed with Cedar and Metal Roof Panels and assembly is E. Misc.Section interchangeable. Attach Bottom Skirting around the base of the shed.
  • Page 30 Wide Corner Trim 1/2” overhang Position Rear Wide Corner Trim (4 - 1/2” x 4 1/2” x 82”) over filler trim. Prior to attaching, do a dry run with Narrow Corner Trim - First butt Narrow Trim up tight underneath the Soffit. Position Wide Trim evenly with Narrow Trim at bottom.

    May have gap. Will get covered Side Facia later. Place Rear Facia (angel cut ends) up underneath metal roof panel. Rear facia will cap side facia. Attach to batten and nailing strip with 5 - 6 1 1/2” finishing nails. Complete both sides. Position Front Facia (angle cut on ends) as per Step 74.
  • Page 32 Attach Facia Detail Plate to side facia where they meet in the middle. Use 4 - 1 1/2” finishing nails per piece to secure. Complete both sides. Horizontal Gable Trim to cover flashing Attach Horizontal Gable Trim ( 4- 1/2” x 4 1/2” x 44 1/2”) to both front and rear of shed. Position equally over gable and wall seam.
  • Page 33 Flush with door jamb. Position Door Trim pieces (2 - 1/2” x 2 1/2” x 77 1/2”) tight at top with Horizontal Gable trim and flush with door jamb. Attach with 4 - 1 1/2” finishing nails per piece. Note: illustration of Hinge may not be accurate. The # of screw holes in the hinge may vary from three to four depending on model.
  • Page 34 3/8” gap on side, 1/2” gap 2” Black Screws at bottom. Bottom of Door Front Bottom Skirting Next, position and secure the Double Doors. Starting with Right Side Door, position so there is a 1/2” gap on bottom and approximately 3/8” on the side. Use a spare Shingle to shim door in place at the bottom.
