Replace 18k Duct Type unit Compressor and Motor

Removal and Assembly of F an Motor
Important: Before removing the fan, make sure power to the system is disconnected.
Step
1. Unplug the
motor cables
2. Remove the
base board
3. Remov e the screws
on fan sub -assembly.
4. R emoving the fan
cage enclosure
5. Loose n the fan、
crosshead and
motor.
6. R eplac e the motor
7. R eassembly of the
unit

Use screwdriver to remove the
electric box cover and unplug the
motor cables in electric box.
Loos e and take out the screws
fixing the bas e board, then remove
the base board.
Remov e the screws on
fan sub-assembly.
R otate the fan cage housi ng
toward supply openin g and
remove.
Use a hex wrenc h to loose n the
screws holdi ng the fan cag e to the
motor shaft, and the screws
holding the crossh ead to the motor
shaft. Remove outer housing
holding motor in place.
R emove the motor from the support
bracket. T hen remove the fan
cages from the motor shafts.
Remov e the motor from the air inlet
and replac e with new motor. Be
sure to tighten the cages onto the
motor shafts.
R eassembl e the unit in the reverse
order of disassembly and test
operation.
