Installing a Repeater

Mounting A Tap Through The Body Holes

Mount the tap to a suitable fixture using:
body holes
tie wrap
ATTENTION: Do not over tighten the screws. Over
tightening the screws can damage the tap. The applied

torque should be 0.2-0.4 Nm (1-2 ft-lbs).
Important:
The suitable fixture can be conductive and/or grounded
because of the electrical isolation provided by these body
holes.
To install a repeater, you:
read European Union Directive Compliance — optional (read if you are
installing the repeater within the European Union or EEA regions)
select where to mount the repeater(s)
mount the repeater
ground the repeater
connect power and relay circuitry (optional)
screws and flat washers
body holes
You can use a
variety of screw
types.
