Positioning and connecting

Before washing for the first
time
The appliance was inspected
thoroughly before leaving the factory. To
remove any residual test water, run the
Drum clean programme the first time
without laundry.
Note:
The appliance must have been
installed and connected properly.

Never switch on a damaged
appliance.
Insert mains plug.

Turn the tap on.
2.
Turn the programme selector to $

Off. The appliance is switched on.
Close the door. Do not load any

laundry.
Select the Drum clean programme.
5.
Open the detergent drawer.
6.
Pour approx. 2 litre of water into

dispenser II.
Add standard detergent to
8.
dispenser II according
to manufacturer's instructions for
light soiling.
To prevent frothing, use only
Note:
half the recommended amount
of detergent. Do not use any
woollens or mild detergents.
Close the detergent drawer.

Select A Start/Reload.
10.
When the programme ends, turn the

programme selector to $ Off. The
appliance is switched off.
Your appliance is now ready for use.

Transportation

e.g. when moving home
Preparatory work:
Turn off the water tap.

Reduce the water pressure in the

Drain any residual water.

Disconnect the appliance from the

mains.
Remove the hoses.
5.
Empty the dispensers.

Installing the transport locks:
Remove the covers and keep them

in a safe place.
Use a screwdriver if necessary.
Insert all four sleeves.

Clip the mains cable securely in the
holders. Insert and tighten the
screws.
Before switching on the appliance
again:
Notes
The transport braces must be
removed.

Pour approx. 2 litre of water into
compartment II, select the spin
programme or rinse and start.
This will prevent detergent from
flowing straight into the drain during
the next wash.
