Safety Precautions

Read this guide carefully and follow all instructions to safely install the RoomPresence system.
General
When installing the RoomPresence, obey local safety laws and regulations. The safety
precautions of this guide are supplementary to local safety regulations.
Adhere to the safety instructions in this guide during device installation. Only trained and
qualified personnel should install or maintain the device.
Prevent device damage during storage, transportation, and operation.
Wear safety gloves when moving and lifting the RoomPresence components to prevent
from being cut by hard angles.
Do not attempt to dismantle the device by yourself. In case of a problem, contact the
official maintenance center for assistance or repair.
Electricity
The installation of the AC power supply must adhere to local safety regulations. Only
qualified personnel should install AC power supplies.
Do not wear any metal items with high conductivity, such as watches or jewelry,
during installation.
Disconnect the power supply before installing or removing power cables.
Use the labels to match cables with their corresponding connections.
Use the appropriate tools to perform high voltage AC operations.
ESD
Before beginning, wear an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) wrist strap or gloves. Check
that the strap's other end is properly grounded to prevent ESD from damaging sensitive
components.
