Checking the Alarm and Link LEDs on the Optical (ATM/POS OC-3) Line Card

Each Optical (ATM) line card provides alarm LEDs for each of its four ports. These LEDs are located directly
below the fourth port, as illustrated in the figure below.

Description
Illuminates when the port is in a fault condition, such
as LOS or LOF.
Off when there is no alarm for this port.
Illuminates when the port is receiving a signal
indicating a problem at the remote end, for example,
RDI.
Off when there is no alarm for this port.
