Appendix A: Information Systems (IS)
1) WebdynSun V1
Introduction:
This type of server is used with the WebdynSun V1 concentrator. It has also been integrated
with the WebdynSunPM concentrator for the deployment of WebdynSunPM concentrators
with these same servers.
Server types: FTP or SFTP
Operating principles:
Communication is done through file exchange. Files can be of the types:

Configuration: contains the configuration;
-
Definition: contains the description of the configured devices;
-
Data: contains the collected data;
-
Alarms: contains the detected alarms;
-
Logs: contains the logs;
-
Commands: contains the commands to be executed; and,
-
Binary: contains firmware updates.
Since the same IS can be used by more than one concentrator, the exchanged files are
prefixed with the concentrator ID.
Description:

Directory tree
Each of the abovementioned file types are contained in specific directories on the server. By
default, the directories are:
o ALARM/
o BIN/
o CONFIG/
o DEF/
MODBUS/
o DATA/
MODBUS/
o LOG/

Configuration files (CONFIG)
There are three types of configuration files:

xxxxxx_config.ini
-
xxxxxx_var.ini
-
xxxxxx_daq.ini
(where xxxxxx is the concentrator ID).
These files are in text format (UTF-8), and have the ".ini" extension.
