- Page 6 Method two (Mounting under a Cupboard): 1) The rangehood must be placed at a minimum distance of 65cm from the cooking surface. The maximum distance should be 75cm for best effect Drill 4 holes of Ø 6mm at the bottom of the hanging cupboard. 2) Drill six Ø4mm holes at the bottom of the cupboard.
