INSTALLING SEISMIC RESTRAINTS
Door cases may require restraints in locations
where cases are subject to potential seismic
activity or in any instances where there is the
potential for unwanted movement or tipping
of the case(s).
To install these restraints:
Determine hole locations and set all anchors
before case is in place. Avoid obstructions
under case or on floor when planning anchor
locations. Two brackets are required at each
case joint and case end. See plan view on the
next page. Equal number of brackets should
be on front and back of case.
