1 - WARNING

Transport

■ 1.1.
For further information on delivery of the compressors,
please see your terms and conditions of sale. Check that
the equipment is in good condition prior to use (i.e that the
exterior is of good appearance, with no visible signs of impact
or damage).

Installation

■ 1.2.
- This compressor and all related equipment must be installed
by qualified personnel.
- The standards in force in the country in which the
compressor is installed and the specific rules and regulations
for refrigerant and electrical connections must be observed
and complied with.
- TECUMSEH cannot be held liable if installation and
maintenance are not carried out in accordance with the
instructions and information provided in this document.
- The operating ranges relating to low-pressure or
high-pressure air-conditioning applications, as specified by
TECUMSEH, must be observed and complied with.

TAG compressors followed by the letter 'P' are designed for
installation in parallel, those followed by the letter 'D' are
installed in pairs (duo) and those followed by the letters '-TR'
are installed in threes (trio).

3 - INSTALLATION
WARNING: do not handle the compressor by the tubes; use
the hook provided for this purpose.

Choice of location

■ 3.1.
The compressor should not block or obstruct thoroughfares
or the movement of personnel, or the opening of doors or
shutters.
The surface supporting the compressor must be sufficiently
robust (wall or floor). Ensure that the compressor is at a
suitable level.
Comply with the distances between the compressor and any
surrounding obstacles to ensure good air circulation.

Refrigeration connections

■ 3.2.
In order to always guarantee the highest product quality,
the compressor is tested on an assembly line at a pneumatic
pressure of 25 bar (above the requirements of 1.1 x PS = 22 bar
as per the NF EN 14276-1, annex C 1.3.2 standard) to ensure
that it is perfectly sealed. It is then passed through an oven
for dehydration. It is delivered pressurized with nitrogen.
Additional explosion tests are also performed periodically.
