  • Page 9 The perpetual calendar has a mechanism that takes into account the length of the current month (28, 30 or 31 days), and counts a 29th February every leap year. The date, day of the week, month, year, and moon phase are therefore indicated mechanically, without the slightest need for readjustment until 1 March 2100.
  • Page 10 centuries is divisible by 4. Such is the case for the years 2000 and 2400 (centuries divisible by 4), which are both regular leap years. It is therefore only in the year 2100 that the programming of your perpetual calendar will need to be corrected.

    WINDING Your Master Ultra Thin Perpetual watch is equipped with a 38-day power reserve, during which time it can operate without any addi- tional winding. Crown in position 0. A few clockwise turns of the crown are enough to set the watch running. It will then automat- ically wind up when you wear it.
  • Page 12 SETTING THE HOURS AND MINUTES Pull the crown out to position 1. Move the hands clockwise until the desired time is displayed. When the hands are display- ing times during the night between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m., with what is known as the security zone in red, you must never: - Turn back the hour or minute hands.
