BLOWER

PROBLEM
Low air volume.
Overheating.
Engine overloading.
CAUSE
Slow speed.
Piping blocked.
Excessive pressure rise.
Worn components.
Inadequate lubrication.
Excessive lubrication.
Excessive pressure rise.
Coupling misalignment.
Speed too high.
Pressure too high.
Impellers rubbing.
SOLUTION
Check blower speed with tach.
Increase speed.
Check for slipping belts. Adjust
belt tension as required.
Check inlet and outlet piping.
Remove obstruction.
Check relief valves. Clean, repair
or replace as required.
Check inlet vacuum and discharge
pressure and compare with
recommended conditions.
Determine cause before
continuing.
Check clearance and replace
defective components. Refer to
Blower Manual.
Check oil level in reservoirs. Add
as required.
Check oil level. Correct as
required.
Adjust operating conditions to
reduce pressure rise to below 10
psi.
Check and realign.
Check and decrease speed to
recommended RPM.
Adjust operating conditions to set
rise to below 10 psi. Add more
air.
Consult your nearest dealer.
