Factory configurations
The following configurations are made on the HY-NEC board
(see wiring diagrams) - connector J10 as follows:
Version
2-pipe
2-pipe + low-capacity electrical heater version (Jumper on J10)
2-pipe + high-capacity electrical heater version (47 kΩ resistance on J10)
4-pipe
Note:
If you replace the HY-NEC board, keep the jumper or the kΩ
resistance to reset the initial configuration.
Configuration using the CRC (Room Controller)
The system can be configured both by System Manager
and by the CRC (user interface) if fitted.
With the CRC, the following parameters can be selected:
• Unit type (fan coil).
• Window Contact (normally open / normally closed).
• Boost / Heating function (only for heaters).
• 2 pipe / 4 pipe operation.
• °C (Celsius), °F (Fahrenheit) temperature selection.
• Air sensor on CRC (ON)
Air sensor on Fan Coil (OFF).
Note:
To select these parameters, refer to the "Room Controller"
installation manual.

Window Contact
If the window contact is open for longer than one minute
the unit is enabled for "Frost protect" operation. The unit returns
to normal operation when the window contact is closed.
The window contact can be configured as follows:
No Configuration (normally open) using the CRC or System
Manager.
Contact open - indicates window open (Frost protect operation).
Contact closed - indicates window closed (normal operation).
Nc Configuration (Normally closed) using the CRC or System
Manager.
Contact open - indicates window closed (normal operation).
Contact closed - indicates window open (Frost protect operation).
All the units are regulated in the factory with the contact normally
open (without jumper between pins 4/5 of terminal block TB) and
configured as No as the default value (Normally open).
During installation, insert the jumper or switch (WS) between
pins 4/5 of terminal block TB, or change the configuration to Nc
(Normally closed) to ensure correct unit operation.
(No jumper on J10)
(No jumper on J10)
System self-diagnosis
The control has diagnostics which automatically check system integrity.
If a fault is found, the system blocks itself and all the functions are
disabled.
In this case, the led on the HY-NEC board flashes (0.5 sec. ON,
0.5 sec. OFF), until the alarm condition is eliminated.
The supervision system can be used to interpret the type of fault
according to the following table.
