TROUBLESHOOTING

If your DSL LAN Extender device fails to operate properly, follow the troubleshooting procedure listed in
Table 1. If the DSL LAN Extender device is still not working, turn off the power and contact Technical
Support (see the section entitled Technical Support Information).
Table 1: Troubleshooting Procedure
SYMPTOM
No LED display
Red light ON after power up
Green light/all LED steady ON
Both yellow lights OFF after
power-up/reset
No Response from LAN port
Both green and red LEDs are

Can't telnet to the DSL LAN

SOLUTION
Check connections
Check phone jack/cable
Try Reset by unplugging/
plugging the power jack
Call technical support for help
-Use straight 10Base-T cable
to hub or switch
-Use crossed 10Base-T cable
to PC or Router
Re-download the software
Use system Main Menu to
assign an IP address
