Application Information
The B
WIC and B
the frequency range from 1 Hz to 50 MHz in conjunction with the Bode 100 vector network analyzer.
4.1
Measurement Principle
B
WIC and B
SMC contain a resistive measurement bridge with a voltage divider and a current shunt.
The measurement principle is a relative voltage / current method where CH1 receives a voltage signal
proportional to the voltage at the DUT and CH2 receives a voltage signal proportional to the current
flowing thru the DUT.

Open / Short / Load calibration must be carried out to compensate for parasitic effects and non-ideal
behavior occurring at higher frequencies. To learn how to calibrate the B

The figure below shows the connection from Bode 100 to B
