Recertification

The ISO Standards Committee recommends that all spectrophotometers be
recertified each year. This recertification process is not covered under
warranty or any maintenance agreement.
If maintained properly, your Epson SpectroProofer is expected to perform
within specifications for the rated life of the product. The SpectroProofer's
life counter can be accessed by printing a status sheet from the printer's
control panel (see your User's Guide for details).
For customers requiring annual ISO re-certification, Epson offers an
"exchange for new" program in which Epson will advance ship a new
spectrophotometer and calibration tile at the customer's request. It is then
the customer's responsibility to return the used spectrophotometer and its
associated calibration tile back to Epson.
This exchange program is offered at the customer's expense and can be
initiated by contacting Epson Customer Support at (562) 276-1305.
