5 Connecting the cash register's drawer

For this cash register, it is recommended to use the cash register drawer with the product code
0034.
In order to connect the drawer to the cash register, first connect the cash register's power
supply unit to the drawer's socket located in the slot at the bottom (the location of the socket is
shown in the drawing below), nest connect the cash register with the cable coming out from the
top of the drawer. The drawer cable can be pulled out maximum 60 cm, but when it is too long
and it gets in your way while working, it can be retracted by pushing it into the drawer's
opening. At the end, connect the power supply unit to the power network. In order to check if
the drawer works correctly, activate the drawer test that is to be found in the Manager
Functions.
The drawer is opened electrically when the operations on the cash register require to contact
with cash (e.g. finishing the receipt, beginning of a cashier's shift, and so on). It is possible to
open the drawer by pressing the drawer opening key [O
menu (e.g. when you want to change a banknote). In case it is necessary to open the drawer
without power supply (e.g. during a supply voltage drop) you should press the lever located in
the opening at the bottom of the drawer in its back.
