With this function, you have the possibility to choose if the cash register is supposed to
interpret the barcodes containing quantity or value as having six or eight digits of the article's
identification number. The default setting is six digits. This option should be set depending on
the capabilities of the labelling scales whose barcodes are to be used for working with the
cash register. For working with the labelling scales ELZAB Eta-Prima, it is recommended to
set 6 digits.
Note: Checking the additional checksum for a barcode with quantity or value is only possible when the
setting of six digits is selected.

17.4 Settings of the cash register

17.4.1 Clock correction

This function is used when a little correction of the clock's indication is necessary. Adjusting is
possible once a day, only after a daily fiscal report is carried out.

17.4.2 Communication module

In the menu, functions have been grouped that are connected with the cash register's
communication with external devices. Here are WiFi connection parameters. (SSID, password,
DHCP or IP etc.)

17.4.3 Clerk display

This function makes it possible to set the backlight of the cashier's display and to change the
interface colour. The backlight of the display has an impact on the running time of the device.
In order to extend the time left to loading, you should use the following options.

17.4.4 Customer's display

This function works identically as in case of the cashier's display. The option Screensavcer
Type makes it possible to set two states of the customer's display, i.e. no screensaver or
displaying the clock.
