Cause
1. Air has entered through the fuel pipe joint,
etc.
2. Air has entered the fuel pipe due to a
crack or pin hole
3. Air has entered through the insulator and
carburetor installation part
4. Air has entered through the oil seal, etc.
5. There is water in the fuel
6. The piston appears to have been burned
7. Carbon blockage in the muffler
1. Fuel is lean
2. Blockage due to dirt in the air passage for
cooling
3. Blockage due to dirt on the cylinder fin,
etc.
4. Poor quality fuel is being used
5. Carbon has collected up in the combus-
tion chamber
6. The spark plug electrode is red hot
1. The air cleaner is soiled
2. Excessive load
Probable Cause
1. The air cleaner element is clogged
2. Carbon adheres to the spark arrester
3. Carburettor is damaged
Action
Insert it securely
Replace
Replace or tighten the gasket

of the tank, then fill with good
quality fuel

file, or replace
