Safety Instructions

Only knowledge and the exact observance of this operating manual guarantee correct
and reliable operation, achieve the best possible usage and ensure any claims made
within the framework of the Vetter guarantee.
These operating instructions are to be kept safely during the complete period of use.
Only staff are to use QuickStrut Kits who have been instructed in their use by
the manufacturer's operating manual and operating instructions.
Disposal is to be carried out according to regional disposal regulations.
• Rescue struts should be operated by qualified personnel only.
• Personnel not directly involved in the operation should keep at a safe
distance from the compromised area.
• Proper protective clothing should be worn at all times
(i.e. bunker gear, gloves, helmets, face shields, etc.).
• Keep hands and feet clear of the rescue strut when stabilizing or
supporting against a surface.
• Always be aware of your surroundings. Check for live electrical wires,
obstacles and etc.
• Be sure to follow all maintenance procedures.
• Keep instruction manual available for reference at all times.
• Do
NOT
make any modifications to the equipment.
This will result in a default of the warranty. It could also result in
serious injury or damage to the equipment.
• Use only factory authorized service parts.
• Make sure all loose parts are secure before transporting the equipment.
• Improvising or adapting Airshore equipment for other purposes could
cause serious injury or damage to the equipment.
