Troubleshooting

Cause
Foreign objects between
nozzle tip and needle
prevent sealing
Clogged air circulation
Contamination in the
nozzle tip
Pressure too low / too
high, viscosity too high /
low, application rate of
coating material is too
high / too low
Not enough coating
material in cup, fluid
nozzle not tightened,
nozzle assembly dirty or
damaged
Atomisation air passes
through the standpipe in
the material cup. Nozzle
tip is not tightened
firmly, locking nut is not
fully screwed-on, air
circulation clogged,
nozzle assembly
damaged

Solution
Remove and clean
needle and nozzle,
reinsert properly
Use thinner resp.
Cleaning agents to
clean. The clean with
cleaning needles
Turn nozzle 180°
around. If result is not
satisfying, clean nozzle
and air circulation
Setup compressed air
pressure
Check viscosity of
coating material
Refill material cup with
coating material, tighten
locking nut, clean or
exchange parts
Tighten parts
accordingly, clean or
exchange them
