Flex and DuoFlex adjustable beds
Your new adjustable bed model is the Flex or DuoFlex, which means
the bed has a two-motor system allowing continuous adjustment of
the back- and footrests. You easily control the motor with a handheld
remote. You can also control it from an app on your smartphone or
tablet. This requires an external adapter, available as an optional
accessory. "Viking Bed Control" is available for downloading from
the App Store or Google Play for either Apple or Android systems.
Read the instructions before using your bed for the first time. It is
very important that you not sit on the bed's back- or footrest when it
is in a raised position. Your adjustable bed has been developed to lie
in, and children should not play or jump on the bed. The manufacturer's
responsibility is suspended if the bed is subjected to any use other
than the intended. The same applies in the case of tampering or
repairs made by unauthorised personnel.

Adjusting your bed
The handheld remote is preprogrammed prior to delivery. If you
need to reprogram your remote, remember that this is only possible
when the bed is in its lowered position.
1. Plug the electric contact into the wall socket.
Wait at least 20 seconds.
2. Press the control button that is located on the side of the motor.
At the same time, press any button on the remote for 1–2 seconds.
3. Now your remote is synchronised with the motor and ready
for use.
