Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, dam-
age or physical injury:
Make sure the voltage corresponds to the type label on the appliance.
Never leave the unit unsupervised when in use. Keep out of reach of children
or persons in need of supervision. Never point the vacuum hose towards per-
sons or animals.
Do not attempt to use the vacuum cleaner to pick up either liquids or burning
or glowing articles such as cigarettes or ashes. Do not suck sharp objects,
toner dust or plaster because the dust can burn.
Do not use the unit until the dust bag or filters are inserted.
Unplug the unit while it is not in use. Do not use the vacuum cleaner on wet
surfaces or outdoors. Do not handle unit or plug with wet hands.
Use the vacuum cleaner only as described in this manual. Use only attach-
ments and accessories recommended by the manufacturer.
Do not use the vacuum cleaner, if the power cord has been damaged. Do not
use the unit, if it has been dropped, damaged or gotten wet.
Do not pull the power cord to unplug, but grasp the plug to remove from the
wall outlet. Do not close cord in doors or pull cord around sharp edges or cor-
ners. Do not pinch or crimp the power cord in any way. Keep the power cord
away from hot surfaces. Make sure that the cord does not become a tripping
hazard.
Do not block the suction tube. Keep it free of dust, lint, hair, and anything else
that might block airflow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and other body
parts out of openings and away from moving parts.
This unit is for domestic use only. Do not suck if the suction openings are
blocked, in order not to overheat the motor.
The unit does not contain any parts serviceable by you. Do not disassemble it
and do not try to repair it yourself. Contact our customer support service.
