7. Press the locking lever (7) and return the log ram to the magnet. Place your
foot on the device and remove the log down sideways (figure G).
8. Pull split log apart until it breaks (Figure H).
9. When finished working, return the log ram to its original
position and secure the device with the transport
protection (1) and with the wedge cap (11).

Notes on Splitting

Always place the log straight onto the guide bars, never
skewed.
Make sure that the splitting wedge and the log ram push
vertically against the log.
Only split one log at a time.

Troubleshooting

No feed
If the log ram does not move forward even when you
have pressed down the foot pedal several times, the
feeding ratio might be too low so the log ram does not
engage in the next snap position. In this case
proceed as follows:
1. Turn the adjusting screw (10) counter clockwise to
increase the working height/lifting height of the log
splitter.
