Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Dispose off packaging material or store packaging out of reach of children.
There is danger of suffocation!
Use the foot-operated log splitter only for the intended purpose, to split logs.
Keep it out of reach of children. The foot-operated log splitter is not a toy. Do
no allow untrained persons to operate the foot-operated log splitter.
The foot-operated log splitter may only be used by one person.
Before using the foot-operated log splitter check if the unit is in good working
condition. Especially check for right fitting of screws and nuts.
Do not use the foot-operated log splitter on inclined surfaces. Use the foot-
operated log splitter only on level and solid ground. Make sure to have safe
stand while using the splitter and maintain your balance at all times.
Always pay attention to the movement of the log ram (6). Carelessness,
failure to comply with the safety notes and incorrect use can result in injuries
to your hand, fingers and foot.
Should the foot-operated log splitter become damaged, do not use it any
further and have it repaired by a professional or contact our customer support
department.
Only use original spare parts. Using foreign replacement pars and accessory
might lead to injuries.
Do not disassemble the foot-operated log splitter and do not try to repair it
yourself.
Only the operator may stand in the working area of the device. Keep
uninvolved persons and animals away from the danger zone.
Never place your hands on or near any moving parts of the foot-operated log
splitter. Always maintain a safe distance from the log, the log ram and the
splitting wedge in order to protect your hands from injuries.
Never exceed the rated capacity of the foot-operated log splitter.
