Keep all labels on the foot-operated log splitter clean and readable.
Read the instruction manual before using the unit for the first time.
Wear safety goggles when working to protect the eyes from chips
and splinters.
Wear safety shoes when working to ensure a solid foothold and to
protect your feet from falling logs.
Wear protective gloves when working to protect your hands from
chips and splinters.
Caution! There is risk of being cut or trapped. While working with
the log splitter never touch any moving parts. In particular pay
attention to the movement of the log ram in order to protect your
hands from injuries.

Before first Use

Take the foot-operated log splitter out of the packaging and check for any
damage in transit.
Press down the foot pedal (3) of the log
splitter and release the transport protection
clip (fig. B and C). Caution! The log splitter is
spring loaded by default.
Install the foot stand (2) and lock the device
with the transport protection mechanism
(fig. A).
