Four Hands Mode

Sound A + Sound B
This function divides the keyboard into two sections, left and right zone,
so that two people can play the same range of pitches, just as though
there were two pianos.
When this mode is active, it is as if you had two separate 44-keys pianos
with the same playing range and octave.
The right pedal act as damper pedal for the right piano section.
The left pedal must be assigned as damper pedal for the left piano section
(see below).

Entering in "4 Hands" mode
NOTE
The "4Hands" mode is available if the "4Hands" parameter in
the "GLOBAL" section is set in "4Hands" (default). Please see "4
Split Point
Hands" (p. 67).

To enter in "4 hands" mode, simultaneously press the [
] and [
] button.

The instrument is now in the "4 Hands" mode.
Sound C
NOTE
The default four hands mode split point is set between keys B3
and C4.
Assigning the damper for the left piano section.
Split Point
To assign left pedal as damper for the left section, please follow the
next instructions.

To enter in "4 hands" settings, press and hold the [
] and [
] button until the following page is displayed.
The display shows the "4 HANDS MODE" page:

By the [] [] buttons select the "Left Damper"
parameter and press the [] button to set it "ON".
Now you are ready to have a four hand performance.

To leave the "4 hands" mode, simultaneously press the

How to Adjust the Volume Balance
Between the Left and Right Piano Section
In the "4 HANDS MODE" page you can adjust the "Balance" and
"Output" parameters.

Use the [] [] buttons select the parameter that you
want adjust.

Use the [] [] buttons to set the desired value.

How to Choose the Tone for the 4 Hands
Mode
You have the option to choose which tone will be recalled when entering
4 hands mode by the "Sound" parameter".

From the "4 HANDS MODE" use the [] [] buttons to
select the "Sound" parameter and use the the [] []
buttons to select your favorite tone.
NOTE
Please take note that this parameter is automatically saved in
the memory Global area when the instrument is turned off.
Explanation
Adjust the balance between the Left
and Right piano section.
Select the audio signal output socket.
<LR>: The sound of the Left piano
section will be heard only from the left
speakers.
The sound of the Right piano section
will be heard only from the right
speakers.
L&R: The sound of the Left and Right
piano section will be heard from both
speakers (Left and Right).
NOTE
If using headphones, you have the
same behavior of speakers.
