10.3 Cleaning air inlets and outlets

Supply air and exhaust air valves or ventilation grilles and any fil-
ters installed in them must be serviced regularly.
1)
Turn the poppet valve anticlockwise on the valve edge (not
on the disc)
2)
Remove the valve from the installation sleeve
3)
Clean the valve and if necessary change the filter
4)
Insert the valve again

NOTE
The setting for the valves must not be changed!

NOTE
Do not use cleaning agents containing sand, soda, acid or
chloride, as these can damage the surfaces.

10.4 Cleaning the heat exchanger

The plastic heat exchanger in the ventilation unit can be
cleaned with clean warm water in a shower or tub using a
shower head attachment.
1)
Disconnect the unit from the power supply and detach the
front panel
2)
Loosen the 6 screws in the EPP front panel, and detach the
EPP front panel
3)
Pull the heat exchanger carefully out of the casing using
the strap, rinse with clean, water, let the water drip off (do
not use cleaning agent!) and insert again in a horizontal po-
sition.
4)
Fit the EPP front panel and screw on, attach the front
panel, switch on the power supply.
CAUTION!
Disconnect the ventilation unit from the power supply for
cleaning!
HINWEIS
NOTE
Do not immerse the heat exchanger completely in water and
do not clean with high pressure! Do not use cleaning agent!
