3.5.6 Analog CO Line wiring
Analog CO boards such as LCOB, AC15, BWDID contain a RJ21 type male connector to connect to analog
CO line on each board. Otherwise DIDB and EMIB contains another type of connectors with screws for the
line connection.
The following provides details on the connection of each type of analog CO line Board.
3.5.6.1
LCOB wiring
LCOB is capable of connecting 4 loop start CO lines through a RJ21 type male connector on the board.
The cable with RJ21 type female connector is required between PFTU connector and MDF. It is possible to
get the cable locally, or use GDK-162 5MC1 supplied by LGIC on the order if necessary.
The MDF that is in wide use in the country can be locally used according to the requirements of local
regulation.

Note:
1. CO lines of LCOB can operate regardless of line polarity.
2. Connect TRC (Telecommunication reference cable) to 25
supplied from Network.
3. LCOB is capable of connecting to up to 4 lines.
