Check Points
1. BRIB boards should be installed in any of the slot No. 1-7 except slot No.8 and EKSU.
2. The PLLU or PLLU2(issue 3 or later) MUST be installed on MPB.

pole of SW1 should be set to the proper position according to the type of TEI.
4. The RX and TX pairs of line should be correctly connected to the TX and RX pairs of NT1.
5. The clock control cable should be connected to the proper position when multi-ISDN cards
are installed in a system. See section 3.5.
6. Terminating resistors on the line.
7. SMEMU MUST be required on MPB for QSIG operation. See SMEMU in section 2.

3.4.6.2 ISDN STIB ( Basic Rate S/T Interface) Installation

STIB card provides 4 interface circuits of Basic Rate format digital CO and/or Extension interface. For
using this board, the PLLU or PLLU2(issue 3 or later) board should be installed on the MPB. If more
than one ISDN board is required, some special cable should be used for clock signal control. CON3 and
CON4 are used to control the clock signal when multi-ISDN boards are installed. Refer to [Clock Control
Cable Wiring] of section 3.5.
