WARNINGS
This appliance is intended for domestic household use only and should not be
used for any other purpose or in any other application, such as for non‐domestic
use or in a commercial environment.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of
the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
The battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
The battery is to be disposed of safely.
Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
Batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity.
Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
Don't throw used batteries in dustbin. Please contact your retailer in order to
protect the environment.
The batteries (batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as
sunshine, fire or the like.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Always use the scale on a hard, very flat surface. DO NOT use on carpet.
DO NOT strike, shake or drop the scale.
DO NOT step on the scale with wet feet, glass surface could be slippery.
Keep the scale dry.
Keep standing still during the course of weighing.
Avoid breaking the scale by striking the glass with a sharp object or by dropping.
Store your scale horizontally; do not store it on its side. The batteries should only
be replaced by adults. Do not allow children to use the appliance unless the
battery cover is attached.
Failure to properly align the battery polarity correctly can cause damage to the
product and can cause a fire hazard.
