To switch on the appliance, turn the battery

compartment cover to the right until the
setting indicator points to the 'on' indication
(I) (Fig. 7) .
Use the appliance as described in the sections

below 'Precision trimming with precision
trimming comb' and 'Precision trimming
without precision trimming comb'.
To switch off the appliance, turn the battery

compartment cover clockwise until the
setting indicator points to the 'off' indication
(0) (Fig. 9) .
Precision trimming with precision
trimming comb
With the precision trimming comb, you can trim to
a length of 3mm.
Note: When you use the precision trimming head for
the fi rst time, always put the precision trimming comb
on the precision trimming head.
Slide the precision trimming comb onto the

front of the precision trimming head and
push it onto the back until it locks into place
('click') (Fig. 16) .
