    LOADING AND UNLOADING THE VIDEO TAPE Video cassette tapes can be loaded into the VCR as long as it is plugged into a power source. If the VCR power switch is turned off, loading a cassette will automatically cause it to turn on. CAUTION : 1.

    SETTING THE CLOCK (INITIAL CLOCK SETTING) When the VCR is turned on the first time or the internal battery has been replaced, the initial clock setup screen appears. If the clock is not set correctly, the date and time that appears on the recorded picture will not match the actual time of the incident.     ADDITIONAL FEATURES TAPE COUNTER A four-digit counter indicates the relative position of the tape. If a portion of the tape has never been recorded, the counter will not increase or decrease during playback, FF/REW or search mode of the blank section.     HOW TO USE THE SHUTTLE RING The shuttle ring is the outer dial. When the VCR is in STOP mode, the shuttle ring can be rotated to the left or right then released, and the VCR will engage in the REWIND or FAST FORWARD function. While in the REWIND or FAST FORWARD mode, the shuttle ring can be rotated and held to engage the LOGIC search mode.

    SPECIAL EFFECTS PLAYBACK / ADJUSTMENT DURING PLAYBACK STILL PICTURE When you press the PAUSE/STILL button during playback mode, the picture freezes. With each additional press of the button, the picture moves forward one frame. To release from the PAUSE/STILL mode, press the PLAY or STOP button.
