11. Basic function

11.1 Wireless connection
The signals from a maximum of 4 cameras can be received. The camera with the
set is programmed in the factory to channel 1. (see Chanel indicator [39])
The connection of the camera with the monitor is shown by the connection LED
[26] on the camera whilst the reception indicator [42] on the screen displays the
reception quality with up to 4 bars and the Connection LED [3] on monitor lights
green.
After switching on the monitor or after pressing a button the monitor is in
setting mode
. After 2 minutes without recording or without any button
being pressed the monitor will automatically switch to
desired display can be selected in idle mode (see Menu overview "system setup
/ multi channels idle display"). In both modes the live view of the paired and
activated cameras can be observed.
11.2 Full screen or quad display

In quad display the audio signal of only one of the paired cameras can be
heard, generally of the lowest camera channel. If however a recording is started
via movement detection from another camera, then the audio signal from that
camera can be heard in live and recorded mode. When the recording is ended
the audio signal will remain from that camera until motion is detected through
another camera or until a button is pressed.
11.3 Volume

11.4 Manual recording

Press the REC/DEL button [15], the display switches from full screen or
scan mode to quad mode, "REC IN PROCESS WAIT 14 SEC" appears and
the recording symbol [46] flashes. The recording is made in quad mode
(unless only one camera channel is activated).

To stop the recording, press the REC/DEL button again, "REC RESUMES IN
4 SEC" appears, the display may revert to full screen or sequence mode
and the recording symbol disappears.

Pair camera with monitor (PAIR A NEW DEVICE)
Up to 4 cameras can be paired with the monitor. The camera in the set is already paired with the monitor on channel 1.
• Press the menu button [5]. The connection LED [3] on the monitor flashes green.
• Press the pairing button [30] on the new camera.
The pairing is complete when the connection LED [3] on the monitor and the connection LED [26] on the camera light permanently green.
camera is now paired to the selected channel. If another camera was already paired to this channel, the old camera will be deleted from the
system. If the newly paired camera was already paired on another channel, the previous pairing will be deleted.

Note:

During recording not all functions are available, the volume can be
changed and the alarm buzzer can be activated or deactivated.

The recording can be stopped after 14 seconds from the start of the
recording ("REC IN PROCESS WAIT 14 SEC" disappears).
11.5 Zoom
In full screen display a 2x digital zoom can be activated:

Press the ZOOM button [17]. The middle of the full picture will be digitally
magnified ("2x" [44] and "ZOOM" appears on the screen). From quad
display the picture from the lowest camera channel will be magnified.

Use the direction buttons [1] to navigate the magnified area within the
picture.

To leave the zoom mode, press the ZOOM button again. The previous
display returns.

The zoom function cannot be activated during recording (whilst record
symbol [46] flashes)

The zoom function is also selectable in the menu (see Menu overview:
"Zoom")
11.6 Alarm buzzer

To activate the alarm buzzer to sound after detected motion, press the
ALARM button [16] to select between ALARM OFF and ALARM ON.

This function is also selectable in the menu (see Menu overview: "Alarm")
12. Menu

Press the menu button [5] to enter the menu.

Press the menu button again to enter a submenu.

Use the direction buttons [1] to navigate in the menu / submenu and to
change the settings.

Press the menu button to confirm or to select a setting.
!
Use the ESC button [14] to return from an operation.
The menu closes automatically 2 minutes after the last action and the monitor
reverts to idle mode.
Note:
The menu cannot be opened whilst a recording is in progress (whilst
recording symbol [46] flashes).
